EMSCULPT generates supra contractions that no fitness training can match. Electromagnetic stimulation causes the muscles to contract and apoptosis of the fat cells (a so-called “programmed cell death”) occurs through the formation of free fatty acids. The method is based on two tissues: fat and muscle.
Muscles make up about 35% of the human body, but existing aesthetic treatments only affect fat. The EMSCULPT technology penetrates the skin and acts on muscle tissue and fat. The energy induces supramaximal muscle contractions, accompanied by a rapid metabolic reaction in fat cells, not only to strengthen and build muscle but also to reduce the fat content. This is the only technology that builds muscle and burns fat without touching the surrounding tissue.

EMSCULPT FACTS
EMSCULPT means electromagnetic body shaping. The core is the HIFEM® technology. HIFEM stands for High Intensity Focused Electro – Magnetic Field. For treatment, the pulse generator is applied to the abdomen, arms, calves or buttocks. In operation, the device generates an electromagnetic field. In the area to be treated, this field penetrates both fat and muscles. Within milliseconds, it stimulates the muscles to perform thousands of contractions (contractions/shortening of muscles).
